I've recieved another award! YEAH!!!

WOW. That's all I have to say.

I have received yet another award to which I am most grateful. Hearts Make Families has given me the Best Blog award! I am totally amazed! I remember when I decided to start a blog in Jan 2009. I had like 15 followers and hardly any comments.

Today I have 99 followers and about 8-10 comments on each post. YEAH! (I must be entertaining you.)

I'm suppose to give this out to 15 other bloggers that I recently started following.
SHEESH! Let's see if I can remember. Every blog I follow is entertaining in one way or another. It will be hard to choose just 15...I'll try.

5 Things that are making me Brain dead Right now.

Wow! I sure am brain dead right now. I didn't wake up too swiftly. I woke with severe stomach pains. ARGH! The writing gods might be conspiring against me! But I will NOT let them win! NEVER!


*Drum roll please*

I have written a total of 7,431 words thus far. The organizers of Nano said we need to have at least 6,667 words. HA! I am past that. May I continue the momentum of the novel. It's getting easier. And it helps if you have a great ideas which continue to flow even after you write.

Now for what you really have been waiting for...

1. Keeping up with everything else--namely household chores, prep for dinner, being a good wife and mother...

2. Writing my novel. (Yes, I think my novel is sucking all my creative energy and leaving me none to deal with the rest of the day, like this blog post for instance.)

3. Can't seem to think of anything else but Abby Rodriguez. (She is the main character in my novel, and since I am telling the novel first person I feel as if I have stepped in her shoes for a month.)

4. I can't help to mention I am a little crazy. I mean a novel? What was I thinking when I signed up? I signed up on a whim, can you tell?

5. Wait. I said there were five things making me brain dead? I don't know if I have a 5th reason making me brain dead. ACK! I think I'll just sign off. SHEESH!

P.S. I can tell my brain is swiftly on its way to shutting off. I am only writing this at 6:30 PM PACIFIC time though. Hmmm. Good thing I get my writing done in the morning.

Hello, again. It's me. I did it!! I got my word count in for today 11-3-09.(4,154 words thus far.) I would like to write more but those other pesty chores are waiting for me to launder, prepare dinner, fold clothes, Bother I think I need a maid for this month. You clean, I'll write. Sound Good? Leave me a comment if you want the job...LOL!

I was very pleased to receive an award yesterday from Ms. Bibi. Apparently I have you all fooled. She thinks I am the most friendliest blogger in 2009. Hmm. Have you met me when I have PMS? Hmm. Not so pretty. I'd like to thank her. Thank for the lovely award.

I got so excited I showed my honey.

He seemed somewhat amused. He just doesn't understand us bloggers. Why would we get so excited over some award? (Psst. It's because then we know someone in reading our mumblings from day to day.) YEAH!

Late night Monday thoughts...

Okay. Now that we have that over with Let's get on with today's post. It is probably not going to be too long 'cause I have been writing today. First 2,539 words written on my novel today!!! It is getting good. I have an antagonist and a protagonist and a character thrown in to make the "treasure hunt" be a LOT harder.

Feeling confused? My story is basically about a girl who discovers a family secret--that has been a secret for several generations. :)

When I get to a good excerpt, I'll post some of it online, maybe if you are good.
I wouldn't want any of you to go behind my back and publish it now...So prove your goodness first.

Other than getting in my required amount of words today, I took the kids to the park, went to the grocery store, and picked up some more research for my novel. I'm beat. We came upon a little unexpected financial windfall today. (Yeah. Bills are paid and we have enough to purchase a small labtop.) We desperately need one. We have 4 people fighting over the one we have. ACK! I am the ONLY one who had a legitimate use to it of course, since I am writing the novel...LOL!

I'm excited! We will be getting the new labtop tomorrow.

That's about it. I'm tired and need to get up early tomorrow to write some more.
