PAY IT FORWARD! Pulleese?? :)

This idea came from:Rambling's from an Islander!

Okay I have seen this done before, It sounds like a fun thing to do. And who wouldn't want a HOMEMADE gift from yours truly? Heck, My brain isn't even awake enough to think about what I might send. You might like it, you might not. But this is for the children AND for our CHILDREN'S CHILDREN that we are playing this little game. What am I saying? It is obviously too late. Anyway Here are the rules:

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantee that you will like what I make. But, I will try my best to make sure that you do.
2. It will be done this year! (hopefully sooner than later).
3. You will have no clue what or when it will be. Please make sure to leave your e-mail address too so I can get a hold of you.

So what ya say? Wanna play?

This will be fun I just know it!
AHEM! I now have three who bravely chose to sign up. Thanks. I'm still looking for 2 more. Remember the catch is you have to play along and do the same thing on your blog later ok? I call it sharing the blog love around.
This is who has signed up so far.
1. Mother Goose
2. Ruth
3. Supermom
Who will be the lucky other two???:)

What do I know. . . ?

Hmmm. Good idea. This came from Peanut's Page.

1- I know that it is late and I have to get up in the morning to get my kids off to school. Why am I making another blog entry instead?

2- I also know that No matter how much your children say "I am going to run away today." OR "I hate you mom, I NEVER want to see you again!" they still love you and care about what you have to say.

3- I know that 4 kittens and one mama cat EAT A TON of food! Does anyone want a kitten?

4- I know that sometimes my head comes alive at night and I just have to write just ONE more thing.

5- I know that I probably should get some sleep now because I hear my 20 month old whimpering in her crib. Will I get some sleep tonight? (Oh good. Shhhhh. She is still asleep. That was a close call.)

6- I know that I LOVE making friends. And if I sound ALOT like you, than I probably am.

7- I know now I have to find a cool picture to attach to this entry or it will appear boring. I also know I do not want to appear boring. One day I hope to be in the MOTHER of all bloggers running. (Like the MOMNERD is in. . .)

8. And lastly I know that I need my beauty sleep so that I may have energy enough to chase my little monsters!

I bid you Adieu!

"When Hearts Conjoin"

WOW! Remember the Herrin twins? If you live in Utah then you are probably familar with Primary Children's Hospital. These are the twins that were separated. Well Luanne Staheli helped write the book. There is a small excerpt from the book on her blog. It looks very heartfelt. It almost looks like you are going to need a tissue when you read the book. Luann's blog is HERE if you want to take a look.
Also Anne Bradshaw is giving away the book. Go to her BLOG and read her amazing interview with Luann and then sign up to win the book. If you never sign up you will never win.
Thanks everybody who continue to read this blog despite all the recent giveaway entries. I am still trying on making it interesting even though you just might not be interested. Check out some of the links. You just might want to sign up for some of them. :)

LDS storymakers

LDS STORYMAKER'S WEBSITE CLICK HERE!

This was my first year I attended LDS Storymaker's conference. It was so much fun! There were many classes with real live LDS authors teaching them! Rachel Nunes taught a class on plot and conflict. Some of the LDS authors that attended:Michelle Ashman Bell, Josie Kilpack, James Dashner, Tristi Pinkston, Robison Wells-- EVERYONE was there! I am so excited to get started writing! I think I even might try my hand at writing a Young adult, youth book geared for 9-12 year old girls. I still want to write romance, I just want to try to write other genre's as well. We'll see how I do. And now I have all these connections now. It's cool. And I also heard it's a good thing to blog. I need to build up my blogging community. YES! I knew blogging was a good idea! Also Facebook was mentioned as a good thing to have. YES! Double score for me! Everyone who is interested in writing and who ever had any desire to write should attend this conference next year. I LOVED it! I'll see if I can link you to their site. It's awesome! I also joined a group called Author's Incognito. They can critique your work if you want! I am finally pursuing my writing dream.

My Redeemer lives!

I've been reading...

I've been reading--books and blogs. Well actually for the last couple of days it had been books. I love books! I love to escape reality and delve right on into a book. I currently am reading Tears of a Giraffe and The Thirteenth Tale. Good Stuff. Granted I just started so I'm in a chapter of them both but hey it's good.
I just checked out your blogs. They are still funny and cute. And I wish some of you would write more. YOU know who YOU are. If you update about once a week you are ok...but once a month--Come on give me a break will ya! Anyway jump on the blogging bandwagon like me and blog to your heart's content. LOL! I'll just get to the point so you can be done reading and on to more important things like cleaning the toilet...(hehe..remember your visiting teachers are coming today.)

Okay. I'm serious. Well I'd just like to take a minute or two and express my gratitude for a living Savior AND a Divine Heavenly Father in my life. He knows us and wants to help us. He answers our prayers--His spirit can be with us always if we let him in. I am in the primary presidency in my ward and one of my fellow counselors gave the sharing time lesson today. It was about the Saviour. She posted pictures of the Savior and shared some pictures from a book she got. Then she played a DVD of the song My Redeemer lives!(It's right next to the hymn I believe in Christ in the LDS hymnbook.) President Hinckley wrote the words to My Redeemer lives! Here are the words:
I know that my Redeemer lives,
Triumphant Savior, Son of God,
Victorious over pain and death,
My King, my Leader, and my Lord.

He lives, my one sure rock of faith,
The one bright hope of men on earth,
The beacon to a better way,
The light beyond the veil of death.

Oh, give me thy sweet Spirit still,
The peace that comes alone from thee,
The faith to walk the lonely road
That leads to thine eternity.
(Gordon B. Hinckley, "My Redeemer Lives," Hymns, no. 135)
It was a great sharing time. I too am grateful to the Lord and for my faith and testimony I have of the Savior. Even when the road is rough He is there for me and sometimes He carries me when it is too much. May all your loads be alittle lighter today because of the Savior.

Things Aren't as Bad as they Seem

Well in my last post as I was doing a lot of complaining. Somehow things will work out. I am putting my trust in God at the moment. Sometimes when things like this start to happen I tend to freak out for a minute and forget: "Hey wait a minute, I think I need to get down on my knees and pray." So that's what I did. I am feeling much better. We are planting our garden (getting the seeds in anyway, rototilling the ground and such is for a little later). I am doing what the Lord wants me to do. I am striving to do my best.

That's all he asked us to do.

I am so grateful for a Savior in my life, Aren't you?

Car problems.

I know I probably shouldn't do this but I have to get my frustrations out. The car stalled on the way to school today. And to make matter worse it stalled in front of someone's driveway. I really hope it was the fact that the gas gauge is kinda low and maybe it just ran out of gas? The thermostat already needs changing, so hopefully whatever it is it is a small problem. My husband Daniel pushed it out of the way and I luckily was able to get it back in our driveway. Thank goodness for husbands!
Our other car is up for the temp tags it has on it. Hopefully we can get that fully registered today cause I have a feeling we are going to relying on it more and more.
Plus it is garden group today and we are meeting 9:30 AM at the church and it is raining!!!!!
Ack! Maybe my honey will let me take the buick. I'll won't be gone for too long.
Hope your day and week is going better. See what rainy days do to me?
Until next time.

I'm not perfect either

Hey all you blogging people!
My friend had the perfect blog entry. See the link at bottom of this entry.

She talked about how she is only perfect when:
a. The dishes are done.
b. Breakfast is made.
c. Floor is vacuumed everyday. (Honestly who has the time everyday for that?)

I'm really not giving her entry justice. Come check my friend Wendy's blog out. IT's too funny and so true!
How many times have we all done the same thing including me? It is so gosh darn hard to get those kids up in the morning. One of my kids treats me as a snooze button. "Just 5 more minutes Mom. Just 3 more minutes!" If I have to be up so do you kid!
I am glad we don't have to be perfect everyday. Being happy does have its points. Less arguments with everybody--And the old saying is true, If the lady of the house ain't happy nobody is happy. We tend to set the tone in our home.
I too am also am PERFECT when:
1- all the clothes are done, dried and put away
2. No complaints about dinner from the children and the HUBBY even ate it.
3. I remember to get a babysitter for Date night.
4. I don't look at blogging for at least a day. (I mean when does that happen?)
5. I NEVER complain that my husband is spending too much time on the computer only to have it backfire when I get on.
6. I leave Facebook for a day. That's no FB status updates. Period. (Yeah right it's too much fun getting responses from you people!)
7. My kitchen is totally clean, floors mopped and everything.
8. My bathroom needs the clean before NON family uses it.
9. My Sunday duties are done Saturday night! (What? I have all week to do it,why does it get left to the last day possible?)
and Finally 10: I'm also ALWAYS perfect when I NEVER raise my voice at the children. (Come on How many times do I have to tell you people to get your PJ's on?)

Happy Tuesday to you ALL!
