I made it through Orientation at Coral Desert.

Thanks to Google for the Image!

I had my orientation yesterday at my NEW job. Yes, yes I'm excited. I'm glad I had something else to distract my thoughts because after I spilled Dr. Pepper on my netbook on Monday, I've been kinda freaking out. No worries anymore though. It might be able to get fixed. And if it can't, I just need to propose how we are gonna afford another netbook. (Get the money gathered and tell my husband.)
MY husband is the type that likes to do all this research before he buys a computer. I've been searching online, and believe me I think Wal-mart has the best deal right now. 200 bucks for a netbook. EBAY has somewhat less, but you get less RAM on your hard drive.
My work schedule for this coming week is Saturday/Sunday at Kolob...THEN on Monday morning bright and EARLY I work a day shift 6AM-6PM. Off Tuesday. Work Wed and Thurs. 12 hour shifts. (But I'm orientating these days, following another CNA around getting the hang of where everything is and what not.)
The following week I train orient for nights. 6P-6A. Ahh. Dr.Pepper will get me through. And the fact that I will sleep during the day as well.
Hubby has been working 12-13 hour days construction. This is good because we got expenses here people.:)
One more thing, this here Cluttered Brain has got Financial Aid (pell grant)to finish up her AAS degree. I need one more class. And guess what it is? It's a computer class. haha. Funny right? I will be taking that and another class, probably online, so I can finish up my associate's.  Then I will dig right in and take ALL my nursing pre requisites classes again. Then I WILL apply to a nursing program. And I WILL get into a nursing program. I WILL be a nurse. Count on that.
And this my tale is done. Things are looking up. I'm not getting swindled anymore by peeps trying to sell me the wrong kind of dryer. My netbook might be able to be fixed, if not, I will seek a replacement.
And the best part of it all?
I get to see my family at the end of June. My sweet brother is getting married. I'm EXCITED. (I'm the only one flying out though. Airplane tickets for the WHOLE family would be nice but is just not in the budget right now.)
SO I will be busier than a one armed paper hanger in the next following weeks. But I will still update ya. don't you worry. Cuz I love blogging and vlogging. It might be a curse. bwahahaha.
Peace out y'all.

Congrats! Looks like things are looking up. Glad you got financial aid for your class. Work hours are a good thing to have. (I could use some more here...) Love you!

Happy for you! Praying your netbook is easily fixed or replaced! And keep the Dr Pepper away from the work computers.
