You hate to wash dishes like me too? GIVEAWAY HAS CLOSED!

Whew!
This post has been on my mind for quite a while.
I can't believe I haven't put it up yet. I was trying to find the perfect way to put it.
There are no perfect words.
Just take my advice.
This dishwashing detergent is awesome.

Have you seen the tiny sponges in the dishwashing section at Wal-mart or your local grocer? You know the ones--They look like this:
I took a 24 hour challenge.

My Blog Spark is like that. They contacted me about a month ago--(I know, I know, this should have gotten posted sooner) but I was busy.

Basically, we were given these lovely dishwashing tablets. We were instructed to make blueberry cobbler. We were given a lovely dish to bake it in too. But I didn't make blueberry cobbler. I think I did one even better. I made Tuna casserole with LOTS of melted cheese on top.

Have you tried to scrub dried on cheese off of your casserole dishes?

I speak from experience, it is NOT pretty.

So I let my dish sit for one night.
I came back the next day to put it in my dishwasher with the lovely dishwashing tablets. :)

I didn't even rinse the dish first.

And you know what happen?

I should have totally taken a picture but I forgot. You are just going to have to believe me. Trust me, I don't lie. My dish covered in dried up cheese was gone after ONE run through the dishwasher.
   Amazing huh?

I'm convinced that Cascade dishwashing tablets were designed for me. The lazy mom who doesn't like an extra step in rinsing her dishes off BEFORE they go through the dishwasher.

Are you still with me?

I know I am still babbling about Cascade tablets but there is a reason.

They gave me something to give away to my sweet readers.

Are you ready?

It is a $25 dollar gift card to Wal-mart!!

Yeah!!! (Now you too can get you some Cascade detergent. Or a new blouse. Or a new coffee machine. Or some Coke products. As long as it totals $25 dollars and under.)

**Mandatory Entry: All you have to do is comment on this post and tell me why you loathe washing the dishes so much.

Easy enough for you?
Cascade wanted me to reward the first person to comment on this post with the $25 gift card.
But I don't think that is necessarily fair. What if you reading this awesome post and your kid throws up before you could make a comment? You come back, and you lose.

So sad.

So here is what I'll do.
Because I love my readers so much.
I will give you until next Friday--That is June 25th to comment on this post. **Date has been changed. You have a little more time to join! Yeah!*
K?

If you are the type of person that LOVES extra entries--like me, here are the EXTRA entries you can do and still qualify to win my $25 dollar gift card.

That's it.
My stomach cramps are acting up again.
Oh bother. I probably revealed too much again.
I'm sorry.

Winner may be announced on Monday June 28th, 2010.
M-kay?

I usually use the cascade with dawn and it works pretty good. I will have to try these suckers! I don't put my pans in the dishwasher but I do run my dishwasher at least twice a day...yeah, you should see my water bill. But I have a million kids!

Uh, I want to win, but like President Obama, I actually like washing the dishes. My wife thinks there is something wrong with me and there probably is. It works out for her though.

My dishwasher was down and out for a few weeks and I had to hand wash. Oh my gosh. HATED IT! I am also not loving my dishwasher detergent. So I will actually try this new doo-dads. Did I win?

I hate washing dishes....my family puts them in the sink with all sorts of food left on them and then they are gross, and make me throw up just a little in my mouth, and we don't have a garbage disposal...and it just goes downhill from there.

I think those little "pillows" look kind of cool!

I have not had a dishwasher in almost 8 years. However, I have always preferred to wash my dishes by hand, because I have never felt like the dishwasher did any good. But if I had a dishwasher I would try these, because it seems like all of my problems would be solved. Yes, washing dishes is one of my least favorite things to do. Especially when it is summer and SOOOO hot in the kitchen.

I hate washing the dishes because we don't have a garbage disposal and I have to touch all of the soggy food excrement and put it in the garbage--BLECK!

I hate washing dishes because 90 percent of them were NOT dirtied by me! :)

I hate doing dishes because they usually sit there for a week before I get to them. I haven't tried the Cascade thingies. But now I want some. I tried to make it easier for my family and had two Post-its over the sink: one that read "Rinse this side" and "Ready for dishwasher this side." I needed to put one on the counter that says, "This was not an option."

I hate doing dishes because the detergent I have now is awful and I have to rewash everything by hand!!

Here's what I hate~when my KIDS load the dishwasher and pile dishes in the worst way, making absolute certain there is no way for the water to rinse the dishes properly. Chunks of food left all over. I'd love to try this stuff. I already use Cascade, but if these work better, awesome!

Awesome giveaway! I hate when you have to rinse and scrub the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher -this product sounds great! BTW I'm glad I can see your blog now for the longest time I couldn't see your actual posts-etc. like before.

OK ya, I hate washing dishes too.
It makes my nails brittle.
That's why.
Also it takes away from blogging time.

OH, and I follow you. Is that the same as having you on my blog roll?

AHEM ... saw that on the first comment (Bet Angel wishes you were a rule follower) ... I am already following you here. I'm now following you on Twitter. I have no idea what a YouTube Channel is! And I HATE doing dishes because I don't OWN a dishwasher. I am the dishwasher! And I'm broke! Some days my knees and back hurt so badly that I have to sit down to wash dishes. BUT ... I am still blessed because we have food to put on those dishes, and hot water to wash them with, and a house to live in and a loving family to live with. In the big picture ... life is GOOD!

I already use cascade tablets. They are awesome. I hate doing dishes because I know I'll be washing the same thing the very next day!!

Dishes is a chore I've pushed off on the children (2 left at home: 22 and 13 years old)...they never, ever rinse a dish and I have to rinse and fingernail scrub any plate I pull out of the cupboard before I attempt to eat on it lest I end up with some terrible stomach-cramping disease (see, I share a lot too ;) Apparently Cascade must watch my children do the dishes at night.

In addition to hating washing dishes because it is so time consuming, I am also really frustrated because my dishwasher just three days ago started making noises like the motor is going out. So I might be washing dishes by hand realllly soon. :(

I actually *don't* hate doing dishes and it is partly because I already use these little Cascade pak miracle workers! Seriously...we haven't used anything else in our dishwasher since we discovered these!

I hate to put the time and energy into washing dishes when I don't feel that they've really been
sanitized. I assume the really hot water of the dishwasher is more effective.

My least favorite thing about dishes is that there are SO many of them! Fortunately I have a dishwasher, but there are still many items (especially the big cookware) that I have to do by hand. I hate that there's always another pan waiting!

Ugh, washing dishes is one of the most hated housework duties that I must do. The combination of touching old food, avoiding all sharper kitchen utensils, and the time consuming nature make it a major pain in my daily schedule.
