Forgive me for posting one more time today, I'm in mourning.

Look at what my sweet 3 year old did today BEHIND my back.
What? You can't see the uneven hair? Wait for it.
Chunks of hair everywhere.

Sweet Buppy. (That's my nickname for my 3 year old.) Why? Why did you cut your beautiful brown hair? I hope the hairdresser can make a beautiful bob out of the mess you created for yourself. I will miss putting your hair up in pigtails.

Please join me in a moment of silence.

My daughter cut her hair.

My WIMTSW post is still below this post. or you can click to it. :) Don't worry. But I had to add this here. My Wordless Wednesday. I truly am speechless. SIGH.

Katarina did this when she was about three too. What is it about that age, girls, and scissors?

I'm sure they will make something cute out of it...and the pigtails will return one day. ;(

It could be WAAAAY worse,, like using the electric razor to slice a chunk out of the side of your head.. oh yeah.. to the scalp.. try fixing that..

I was GOING to link up to a sympathy post I did a long time ago... but the place I guest posted it seems to have gone private? what's up with that??

anywho - be grateful that she's still got bangs... and someday I'll tell you the story of M and how she is not allowed to watch The Parent Trap without supervision ever again.

Oh my heck.........I'm trying NOT to laugh.

I sorta miss those days of the kids doing their own haircut thing....but then again, I don't.

Oh, I know how you feel! My girls (and boys for that matter) have all done this at least once. Usually it is when they want to do something to their hair that I don't want them to do. I always mourn the locks of beautiful hair for several weeks because usually mine do a good enough job on theirs that it is impossible to fix and make it look pretty.

My sister cut her hair when she was 3. She cut it *between* the pony holder and her head. The only possible salvation?

Shave it.

It's hair, it will grow back. In the meantime...

My daughter did the exact same thing, although it was NOT on my watch. It was on her dads watch!

Ha ha ha!

Sorry to laugh.

I have to tell you that I caught one of my FIRST GRADE girls cutting her own hair today! Try explaining that to her mom!

I even crossed myself in your behalf~even though I'm not Catholic. Once my daughter couldn't get a bobbypin out of a curl, so she just hacked it out. I crossed myself then, too. And then I screamed.

Oh no! As the mother of a girl, you have my deepest condolences. Moment of silence indeed.

I know how you feel! My daughter did that 2 years ago, and she actually cut ALL of her hair off. I had to hide in the bathroom and cry. Kids...they keep you on your toes!!

I feel your pain. My 19 year old shaved her eyebrow off when she was about 6. Haylee cut Avery's hair and Alex cut his own. Also, the Barbies are all a bunch of bald bitches.
