May we all remember that dreadful day 9 years ago.
God Bless America! Land that I love! I'm taking a moment to reflect upon my liberties and freedoms in America that I still enjoy. What are you doing today? :)
We have been watching history channel specials all day today about September 11th. And trying to explain it to our daughter. How do you explain something to a kid that you don't even understand yourself?
Reading blogs like this one and being grateful ... for so many things including the fact that it wasn't the first of many! As bad as it was, and it was horrible, it could have been so much worse if brave people had not stood in the way and said "No More!" and "Not Here!"
We hung our flag today and I have been thinking a lot about that day. I remember how scared and vulnerable I felt at the hands of those terrorists. And then American hopped to it's feet and became a flag loving people once again.
I don't think I will ever forget the details of that horrible day! I remember exactly where I was sitting and even wearing when I heard the news. I can't believe its already been 9 years!

I'm saluting the stars and stripes and hatching a plot to snare bin Laden, or make him incontinent at the very least.
those pictures of the towers still make me shudder and wonder how someone could do such a thing

Relaxing with my husband and grandson!!
I am so grateful for every day of my life. It's so easy to forget that things can change forever...just like that.
